CC's Survivor Rulebook

From CC's Survivor
Jump to navigationJump to search

These are the rules to CC's Survivor, as of Survivor: China - Three Kingdoms. These rules were made just before Survivor: China - Three Kingdoms and in saying that, Survivor: Tokelau and Survivor: Morocco - Last Laugh were before these rules were made, so some exceptions are expected. Failure to follow these rules will result in consequences.

If you have any questions about the rules, contact ccwagu.

Casting

  • DO NOT TELL PEOPLE YOU HAVE BEEN CASTED. I understand that you may tell a few people, but do not go making a blog about it and trying spamming it for pluses. Failure to follow this will result in being pulled from the game.
  • People will not be replaced once a season starts, even if a person quits. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Activity

  • I expect players to attend challenges or at least post messages about not being able to come. Failure to do so will result in a mark on your miss chain.
  • I expect players to attend tribal councils and send votes in. Questions are not mandatory, but if you do not vote, you will receive a self-vote and a mark on your miss chain.
  • PLEASE SEND CONFESSIONALS. This is the only way I can figure out what is going on in the game, and the last thing I want is false information. The more information, the more I can form an opinion on you and how to portray you.

Challenges

  • There will always be check-ins during live challenges. If you do not make a check-in, you can still participate if you come in later, and not get a miss chain mark. However, I expect punctuality and too much tardiness could result in miss chain marks. Check-ins are only to gauge whether the challenge has enough people. If too little people come, the challenge may be rescheduled for another time.
  • Non-live challenges will last no less than two hours and no more than twenty-four hours. If you do not participate, you will receive a miss chain mark.
  • If only one person or tribe attends a live challenge, that person/tribe will automatically win immunity. Otherwise, the challenge will go on.
  • If your tribe wins immunity, and one of your tribemates is medically evacuated, the other tribe will still go to tribal council. However, if the losing tribe has a medical evacuation, they will not go to tribal council.

Tribal Council

  • Did your tribe lose a challenge? Is it a double/triple tribal council? Are you at the merge? Congratulations, you're coming here! Now is the time to answer questions and send in your vote to send someone home. You must send your vote before the time is up, or you will get a self-vote and a miss chain mark.
  • Once you vote, you have thirty minutes to change your vote. You can decide to change or hold your vote. If you hold your vote, you will get more time to make a vote. However, if you don't send in a vote, you will vote for the person you first chose. ANY CHANGES LATER THAN THIS PERIOD WILL NOT COUNT.
  • Once the votes are read, the decision is final. Nothing about the vote can and will change.1

Ties at Tribal Council

  • A tie vote will take place after the voting, but before the challenge. Players will send in votes against the players tied. If a challenge was scheduled and the votes aren't received before that, the challenge will be rescheduled.
  • If the votes are still tied after a tie vote, unless one player can flip to another person, we will go to rocks. Everyone (except the immunity winner) will draw rocks. One rock is purple, the others are normal rocks. Whoever pulls the purple rock will be eliminated from the game. This is the case except for a four person tribal council, where a tiebreaker challenge will commence.

Miss Chains

Further information: Miss chain

Medical Evacuations

  • If a player is banned, they are evacuated. No exceptions. Do not go to the jury, do not send a last laugh, do not collect $200.
  • If a player has three miss chain marks out of five, they are evacuated. They will still go to the jury however.
  • If a player has real-life issues, they will be medically evacuated instead of quitting.

Quitting

  • If you quit, you will not be able to enter back into your season. You cannot come back for another season. (The only exception is Noah Kingrey, as this was before this rule came into place.)
  • Quitting before a tribal council will still cause a tribal council to happen. Quitting during a tribal council will cause no one else to be eliminated (unless another player quits).1

Returning Players

  • Some seasons will have preset players asked to come back. Others will be applications allowed (returning players only). If they are application-based, go ahead and reapply!

Hidden Immunity Idols

Further information: Hidden immunity idol

  • Hidden immunity idols are based on a combination lock of 165 combinations. You can search every fifteen minutes, and you will not always get a reply saying you are wrong. You will get a reply when you get it right, however.
  • If an idol is played and the tribe still exists, the idol will be replaced. Otherwise, the idol could be rehidden or not.
  • If you wish to play an idol, message me with your vote, telling me who you're playing it on. I would send it twice just to make sure it sends (sorry Chandler Pittman). There is another chance when I ask if anyone wants to play an idol.
  • If a player gives an idol to another player, and that player refuses to play it, the idol goes back to the original player.
  • If a player wishes to give their idol to another player but not play it, they must say they are handing control of the idol to that player before the votes of the current tribal council are read. IF YOU PLAY THE IDOL WITHOUT CONTROL, YOU WILL BE DENIED. IF YOU LINK THE IMAGE LINK WITH IT, YOU WILL RECEIVE A MISS CHAIN MARK AS PUNISHMENT.
  • Only the person who is in control of the idol can use the image link to play the idol. Any other people cannot, and will receive miss chain marks as punishment.

Final Tribal Council

  • You have until the deadline to send in your vote. A deadline extension might be given if not enough votes are put in. Not voting will result in no vote.
  • A deadlock tie between three finalists is solved by removing the first jury member's vote, as they lasted the shortest out of the jury. Then the rule below follows.
  • A deadlock tie between three finalists where only two have a tie and one does not (for example, 3-3-1) is solved by having the Second Runner-Up's votes revoted for one of the two left.
  • A deadlock tie between two finalists is solved by removing the first jury member's vote, as they lasted the shortest out of the jury. This resolves the winner between two finalists.

Host

  • I make mistakes. Mostly spelling mistakes. If I make one, please correct me! I might be stupid enough to actually follow through with that mistake through the rest of the game, and that wouldn't be pleasant.
  • There is a different between playful banter and actual harassment. Depending on the severity of the harassment, this could go from a warning to a kick from the season. I don't take harassment.
  • If I don't make a deadline (e.g. reading votes) don't panic. I'll get to it eventually, I probably just got caught up in something.
  • If it's a challenge deadline for something live, or it's a very long wait for something non-live, get mad at me. This is not acceptable behavior on my part.
  • If I disappear for more than five to seven days, I've probably got no internet or something has happened. I will try to give an update/warning when I can.

Extra Notes

  • These rules do not cover everything. If something not in the rules comes up, I will try to make a fair judgement and put it in this rulebook.
  • Any of these rules can be changed at anytime. However, the rule changes will not come into effect until the next season.
  • No rules or rule changes are meant to be biased towards anyone, negatively or positively. If you believe a rule is biased, inform me.
